WALK FOR SUCCESS: KWARAN ENTREPRENEURS PARTICIPATED IN 2019 GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK


Kwaran Entrepreneurs converged at Kwara Hotels, Ilorin on the early morning of Saturday, 16th November, 2019 to celebrate the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Under the leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Yemisi Adeyeye of Life Fount Hospital, the entrepreneurs started with aerobics training before walking around some streets in the state capital and also attending entrepreneurship development programme later in the day.

Team members of the Impact Driven Initiative for Sustainable Development (IDISD) were led to the walk by the Executive Director, Mr. Hanafi Olanrewaju Rabiu, in a bid to fulfill the organization’s goals of ending poverty and supporting economic development.


The 2019 GEW in Nigeria was promoted by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), Nigeria. The GEN is a year-round platform of programs and initiatives aimed at creating one global entrepreneurial ecosystem. GEN Nigeria will help Nigerians unleash their ideas and turn them into promising new ventures – creating jobs, accelerating innovation and strengthening economic stability around the world (see https://www.gennigeria.org/about-gen.php for more information on the GEN).
